Cameras, most in original leather cases, photographic equipment, and other materials probably used by R. Clark Jones in the study of optical polarization. The collection includes four Leica 35 mm cameras manufactured in Germany; two Yashica 35 mm cameras manufactured in Japan; one Zeiss Ikon Movikon 8 mm movie camera manufactured in Germany; one FED 35 mm camera manufactured in the former Soviet Union; one Eljy Lumiere 24 x 36 mm subminature camera manufactured in France; one Kodak Instamatic 133-X camera manufactured in England; various camera lens, filters, attachments, and other photographic equipment manufactured by Leica, Canon, Polaroid, Kodak, and other companies; microscope parts, including lens and eyepieces, from Spencer Lens Company, Buffalo, N.Y.; and surplus lenses from Edmund Scientific Company, Barrington, N.J.
